1. Fly Away into Whistler

By: Samantha Sawchuck and Amy Oostyen

Departing from Vancouver’s beautiful waterfront, hop on the Harbour Air Float Plane for a journey of a life time heading to the countryside of Whistler. Fly high above the Sea to Sky highway enjoying the breath taking views of British Columbia’s snow-capped mountains, temperate rainforest and exotic wildlife. Descending close to the Stawamus Chief, a popular hiking destination in the Squamish region, you will experience scenic views of Howe Sound.  Continuing on your journey through Garibaldi Provincial Park, you will experience the dark jagged edges of the Black Tusk; an extinct composite volcanic rock formation which erupted over one hundred and seventy thousand years ago. Arriving into scenic Whistler, landing on the aqua marine coloured water of Green Lake where you will be provided with a canoe or kayak of your choice.  Enjoy a one hour paddle down the River of Golden Dreams to the Edgewater Lodge where you will reside for the next three nights. Enjoy your journey!
