Rayat-Bahra University

Punjab’s premier institution, the Rayat-Bahra University (RBU) has entered into a partnership arrangement with Eton College Canada to offer courses where the students can spend two years at RBU and two years at a Canadian institution or two and half years at a New Zealand University.

Situated near the Tricity of Chandigarh, Panchkula, Mohali, RBU is a recognized institution of the University Grant Commission of India and the State Government of Punjab. Lavishing in a lush and serene landscape, the university takes pride in its engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, dentistry, management, and law schools of excellence.

Hundreds of RBU graduates have been hired by blue-chip companies, multi-nationals, and domestic enterprises from on-campus and off-campus recruitments. Similarly, scores of RBU’s research scholars have presented their papers at conferences in India and abroad and contributed to prominent research journals.

Top-notch Programs in India

With its partnership with Eton College Canada, students can begin their Eton College Canada programs at RBU, serving as Eton College’s Indian campus. Students under the Pathway Program will be able to save high costs of international tuition fees and living abroad expenses because they can transfer their studies to institutions in Canada or New Zealand after two years.

Through the partnership, Rayat-Bahra University students can take up any of these 2-year Eton College programs in their college starting December 1, 2020:
Upon completing an Eton College diploma program, students are eligible to move to Canada to pursue a 2-year bachelor’s degree at any of these pathway universities:

Canada

The following Eton College programs are transferable to Royal Roads University:
  • Business Administration and Hospitality Management Diploma (19 months)
  • Business Administration and Travel and Tourism Management Diploma (17 months)
Transferable to the following degree programs:
  • Bachelor of Arts in International Hotel Management
  • Bachelor of Arts in Global Tourism Management
Additional admission criteria:
  • Successful completion of the Eton College diploma program with a minimum GPA of 3.0 equivalent to a Grade B.
  • Must meet all other program admission requirements found on the Royal Roads University website.

The following Eton College programs are transferable to Capilano University:

  • Business Administration and Hospitality Management Diploma (19 months)
  • Business Administration and Travel and Tourism Management Diploma (17 months)
  • Hospitality and Tourism Management Diploma (16 months)
  • Travel and Tourism Management Diploma (7.5 months)

Transferable to the following degree programs:

  • Business Administration and Hospitality Management Diploma
    • Up to 60 credits transferable toward a Bachelor of Tourism Management degree from Capilano University
  • Business Administration and Travel and Tourism Management Diploma
    • Up to 60 credits transferable toward a Bachelor of Tourism Management degree from Capilano University
  • Hospitality and Tourism Management Diploma
    • Up to 51 credits transferable toward a Bachelor of Tourism Management degree from Capilano University
  • Travel and Tourism Management Diploma
    • Up to 30 credits transferable toward a Bachelor of Tourism Management degree or Tourism Management Cooperative Education diploma from Capilano University

Additional admission criteria:

  • Successful completion of the Eton College Diploma Program with a minimum GPA of 2.0
  • Pass IELTS with an overall score of 6.0 or higher
  • Pass TOEFL with an overall score of 75 or higher
  • Must meet all other Capilano University and program requirements

The following Eton College programs are transferable to City University of Seattle, Vancouver Campus:

  • Business Administration Diploma (9.5 months)
  • Hospitality Management Diploma (9.5 months)
  • Travel and Tourism Management Diploma (7.5 months)

Transferable to the following degree programs:

  • Business Administration Diploma
    • Up to 74 credits transferable toward a Bachelor of Arts in Management degree from City University of Seattle
  • Hospitality Management Diploma
    • Up to 76 credits transferable toward a Bachelor of Arts in Management degree from City University of Seattle
  • Travel and Tourism Management Diploma
    • Up to 75 credits transferable towards a Bachelor of Arts in Management degree from City University of Seattle

Additional admission criteria:

  • Pass with a minimum of Grade D in all courses
  • Successful completion of the Eton College diploma program with a minimum GPA of 2.0
  • Must have completed and passed at least 45 credits to satisfy City University of Seattle’s English Language Proficiency criteria, and qualify for admission to the Business of Arts in Management Degree program
  • Must meet all other City University of Seattle and program requirements

The following Eton College programs are transferable to the University of Canada West:

  • Business Administration Diploma
  • Travel and Tourism Management Diploma
  • Hospitality Management Diploma

Transferable to the following degree programs:

  • Business Administration Diploma
    • Up to 27 credits transferable toward a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Canada West
  • Travel and Tourism Management Diploma
    • Up to 24 credits transferable toward a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Canada West
  • Hospitality Management Diploma
    • Up to 15 credits transferable toward a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Canada West.

Additional admission criteria:

  • Successful completion of the Eton College diploma program with a minimum cumulative average of 70%
  • Admitted to Eton College with a minimum overall band of IELTS 6.0
  • Must meet all other University Canada West and program requirements
The following Eton College program is transferable to Vancouver Community College:
  • Business Administration with Major in Hospitality Management Diploma (19 months)
Transferable to the following degree programs:
  • Business Administration Major in Hospitality Management Diploma
Transfer to 3rd year of Hospitality Management degree program at Vancouver Community College’s Bachelor Additional admission criteria:
  • Pass IELTS with an overall band score of 6.5 or higher and no individual band of less than 6.0
  • Must meet all other Vancouver Community College and program requirements

New Zealand

The following Eton College programs are transferable to Lincoln University, New Zealand:
  • Business Administration Diploma
  • Business Administration Major in Hospitality Management (BAHM)
  • Business Administration Major in Travel and Tourism (BATT)
Transferable to the following degree programs: Direct entry to 2nd year of a 3-year Bachelor of Commerce degree (120 credits)

Additional admission criteria:
  • Successful completion of the Eton College Business Administration diploma program with good academic standing 
  • Must show evidence of meeting Lincoln University’s English language proficiency requirements
  • The first batch has only 30 seats. A single-window facility for admission, immigration and visa is currently open to process requirements at the Mohali and Hoshiarpur campuses of the Rayat-Bahra University. 
The program will be supervised by the faculty of Eton College Canada. After completion of their degree, the students will be eligible for a three-year post-graduation work permit in Canada.
