Eton College’s comprehensive Cloud Computing Diploma Program is designed to prime its students with future-proof skills in the thriving cloud industry. The program helps students build a strong foundation in platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), as well as in-depth knowledge of the architectural principles and services offered by these leading cloud providers. This prepares students with industry-focused skillset to become experts and leaders in designing and implementing highly scalable and fault-tolerant applications, certifying our graduates as AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud architects and other rewarding careers.

Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this program, the student will have reliably demonstrated the ability to:
- Gain insight into the fundamental principles of cloud computing and their application within Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Administer subscriptions, handle billing, and establish role-based access control for Azure users and groups.
- Execute various use cases and configure options for Azure App Services and App Service environments.
- Craft an Azure app service web app using tools such as Azure CLI, PowerShell, and other available resources.
- Oversee security and identity management for Azure solutions.
- Implement security measures and testing in AWS while developing expertise in key AWS components, including S3, DynamoDB, Elastic Beanstalk, and CloudFormation.
- Explore AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), AWS Schema Conversion Tool, and gain an overview of AWS database migration solutions.
- Deploy, govern, and maintain highly scalable, fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
- Select the most appropriate AWS service based on specific requirements related to data, compute, databases, or security.
- Establish a GCP account and leverage GCP services encompassing networking, storage, content delivery networks, and more.
- Gain proficiency in Google Virtual Machines (VMs) and their practical utilization, along with cloud-based data storage and management, particularly in Google SQL.
- Design and implement a secure, automated DevOps pipeline using Kubernetes while applying cloud-native security best practices to ensure secure deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
- Create resilient cloud architectures with Kubernetes, incorporating disaster recovery strategies and ensuring business continuity through multi-region or multi-cloud configurations.
- Integrate cloud-native security measures into Kubernetes-based environments and disaster recovery plans to ensure data protection, compliance, and high availability during recovery scenarios.

- Applicants must provide a valid Govt. photo ID or birth certificate
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum Age: 19 years.
- Mature Students (19+ without high school diploma): May be considered based on work experience, resume, transcripts, and references. An interview may be required.
- English Language Proficiency
- Applicants must meet one of the following:
- Minimum scores from accepted English tests (e.g., IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 46, Duolingo 95, etc.).
- Recent English proficiency test (within 2 years).
- Proof of English-language education:
- 2–3 years of secondary or post-secondary education completed in English in eligible countries.
- International credentials must be recognized by WES, ICES, or IQAS.
