Overview
What is a Full Stack Developer? A Full Stack Developer works with both the front and back end of a website or application. They’re familiar with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and one or more back end languages. The Full Stack Web Development Diploma program is designed to provide students with the skills to effectively development create a customize WordPress websites and extensions that optimize exposure and maximize conversion. Students will establish, implement and measure digital marketing strategies throughout several courses.

Admission Requirements
1. Basic Admission Requirements
- High School Completion: Applicants must have a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- Age Requirement: Minimum 19 years of age.
- Mature Student Status*: Applicants who have not completed high school and are at least 19 years of age, may apply as a mature student.
*Mature student status may be granted to applicants who are over 19 years old and have not completed high school or equivalent. The applicants will be considered for admission based on the skills and experience they have acquired since leaving school. The applicant is required to provide the most recent transcripts or proof of academic accomplishments, a resume or summary of professional accomplishments, and two professional letters of recommendation. The applicant may be interviewed by the Registrar’s or Academic office to further assess their suitability for admission to the program of study.
2. English Language Proficiency
Applicants must meet one of the following:
- Minimum scores from accepted English tests (e.g., IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 46, Duolingo 95, etc.).
- Recent English proficiency test (within 2 years).
- Proof of English-language education:
- 2–3 years of secondary or post-secondary education completed in English in eligible countries.
- International credentials must be recognized by WES, ICES, or IQAS.

Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this program, the student will have reliably demonstrated the ability to:
- Develop front-end web applications using a toolkit that includes HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and contemporary frameworks.
- Construct web applications employing architectural patterns like the Model-View- Controller (MVC).
- Build back-end RESTful applications using contemporary scripting and programming languages and frameworks.
- Proficiently set up, configure, operate, and oversee web servers and resources via command-line interfaces.
- Create, administer, and harness modern database management systems, and seamlessly integrate data into web applications.
- Implement software development practices that align with design, implementation, testing, and deployment best practices.
- Apply cutting-edge techniques for front-end user experience (UX), user interface (UI), and design.
- Collaborate within teams to prototype and develop full-stack web applications, covering both front-end and back-end development, based on user requirements and specifications.
- Effectively communicate in both written and verbal English, and adeptly utilize presentation tools in business, sales, or technical settings.
- Develop web applications that adhere to legal, ethical, and security standards.
- Prepare for marketing and selling web applications following contemporary industry practices.
- Collaborate and coordinate on team projects using widely adopted technical tools, such as version control systems and communication tools, while implementing modern methodologies like Agile and Scrum.”
- Understand the principles, tools, and frameworks related to modern web development, including accessibility, API design, DevOps, and AI integration.
- Apply best practices to build secure, scalable, and compliant web applications using industry-standard technologies and development methodologies
- Analyze complex web architectures, user data, and content workflows to optimize performance, accessibility, and user experience.
- Create ethical, data-driven, and intelligent web solutions by integrating APIs, machine learning models, headless CMSs, and CI/CD pipelines.
