Professional Report Writing

This program does not require approval by Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Training. As such, PTIB did not review this program.

This course has been designed to provide students with the skills necessary to prepare industry specific and compliant documentation and reports that meet the standards of client, clinical practice, legal and ethical requirements. This course will assist students in understanding the fundamental principles and purposes of documentation and report writing by taking them step by step through the details of the processes and documentation required.

 

COURSE PREREQUISITES

  • Applicants must provide a valid photo ID or birth certificate
  • Applicants must hold a high school diploma or be at least 19 years of age
  • Students under the age of 19 require their parent or guardian’s signature
  • Student must complete an intake with Admissions team member

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Analyze communication situations and audiences to make choices about the most effective and efficient way to communicate.

  • Enhance business communication with technically based data and media.
  • Select and use the appropriate communication vehicles to deliver messages effectively.
  • Provide feedback, accept feedback, and use feedback to improve communication skills.

COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS
To successfully complete this course, students must:

  • Pass the final exam
  • Attend a minimum of 80% of the scheduled classes
